1.
Power Amplifier.
- Attach (1) A203
to the Left/Right Speaker Outputs of the Power Amplifier.
2. Audio Player.
- Attach (1) R203 to
the Left/Right RCA Outputs of the Audio Player.
3. Active Preamplifier.
- Attach (1) R203 to
the Left/Right RCA Preamp Outputs.
- For potentially more sound
improvement, you can experiment with
attaching (1) R203 to
the Left/Right RCA Tape (Record) Outputs of the Preamp (to
stabilize the internal input stage of the Preamp).
Note: It is OK for the R203 to
just hang off the back of the Preamp with no other cables
connected to it.
4. A good set of speakers. With
feedback stabilizers improving the sound quality of your audio
electronics, speakers become the weak link in the system. We
recommend getting the best speakers within your budget.
5.
Plain RCA cables and Speaker wires (nothing fancy).
- 20 Feet of 14 or 16 Gauge
parallel wire (zip cord) for each speaker. Just use regular
plain/generic wire available at any hardware store. You may
connect multiple sets of the parallel wires in parallel for
longer runs.
-
Regular, plain/generic RCA cables with solid construction, double shielded.
5. Up to (3) R203
stabilizers can be replaced with a single HR203
(with Y-cables) for a more cost effective solution.
Note: Check that the reach
of the HR203 is sufficient for your system.
For a step even higher in sound
quality, use MR253 over R203 and MA253 over A203. Also, applying our DIY
tweaks offers substantial improvement as well.
