1. Attach (1) A203/A103
to the Left/Right Speaker Outputs of the Receiver.
2. Attach (1) R203/R103 to
the Left/Right RCA Outputs of the Audio Player.
Connect
the Audio Player to the Receiver using an Analog connection. It
is not
recommend that you connect the Audio Player to the
Receiver using a Digital connection if the Receiver does not
have PREOUT jacks. In this case there would
be no way to connect the R203/R103 to stabilize the Receiver's
internal Digital to Analog Converter circuit.
3. For potentially more sound
improvement, you can experiment with
attaching (1) R203/R103 to
the Left/Right RCA Tape (Record) Outputs
of the Receiver (to
stabilize its internal Preamp's input stage).
Note: In some receivers the
Record Out is not active for all its analog inputs. Make sure
the Record Out is connected to the analog input being used. It is OK for the
R203/R103 to
just hang off the back of the receiver with no other cables
connected to it.
- If your receiver
has a Stereo/Direct mode, we recommend you use the Direct
mode to bypass the internal signal processing of the Receiver
which cannot be stabilized.
4.
Up to (3) R203/R103 stabilizers can be replaced with a
single HR203/HR103 (with Y-cables) for a more cost
effective solution. Up to (2) R103 stabilizers can be
replaced with a single QR103 (with Y-cables).
Note: Check that the reach
of the HR203/HR103/QR103 is sufficient for your system.
