Enclosure resonances add
extraneous sounds to reproduced music, therefore messing up
musical harmony, rhythm and timbre. Particularly, the timing (or
overlap) between the trailing and the rising of musical notes is
seriously interfered with by enclosure resonances.

All amplifying circuits
need negative feedback (NFB) to insure signal fidelity. Without
NFB, output signals will be distorted as compared to inputs.
Especially when driving reactive loads. There are people selling
zero-feedback mumbo jumbo, but forget them, they try to fool
consumers. Zero feedback cannot drive reactive loads.
The drawback of NFB
exists because of the amplification of noises at very high
frequencies, more than 10 time audio frequencies. Electronic
noises permeate components all the time but they are harmless low
level inputs and low level unity gain amplified signals. Even some
noises can be amplified to audible levels, if these noises are
uncorrelated to music, they will not spoil music. Only noises
modulated and correlated somehow to music are annoying. The brain
is capable of filtering out random noises, but will be fatigued by
musically shadowy noises.
As noise frequency vary
and as circuit parameters change because of induced voltages and
currents, it will come to a point where the phase lag between
input and output become closer to180 degrees. Now, NFB becomes
closer to Positive Feedback (PFB), resulting in more or less large
and sudden bursts of high frequency noise oscillations, spoilers
of music. The spoiling of music become more annoying as the
